Kiss from a lily

One day, in my garden, a red rose took birth
It looked strong and glorious, the supreme beauty on Earth
One day after, a shy lily-girl appeared, right next to it
Glorious like an anthem, fearful like a kid

The red rose felt threatened, and came up with a plan
To prove his supremacy and see who earns the first fan
"What a beautiful flower!" someone told lily
The red rose was upset. He had lost the bet, remembering this daily.

He started torturing himself and plucking up his petals
One by one was falling, leaving the rose breathless
'Wait, what are you doing', Lily asked, feeling shitty
'Stop! You're hurting yourself! You are still more pretty'

'It's you who tells me this? Well, I don't need your pity
You have always been greater and much more pretty'
Lily felt something that hasn't felt before
A strong feeling was making her want more

She got a little closer, and followed her heart
She kissed his last petals, which were tearing apart
Her petals were shaking, making three of his seeds
Crush to the ground and give birth to three kids

Three unique flowers arose from a war
Glorious and shiny, nobody knew what flowers they were
The perfect combination between lily and the rose
Who learned how to live together, but mostly what was LOVE.
